DBS5900-G Base Station

DBS5900-G is a new generation of 5G-oriented distributed base station solution, the DBS5900-G series base station includes BBU5900-G and 5000 series RF modules. Compared with the previous generation BBU3910-G, the BBU5900-G has four times the backplane switching capability, supports Massive MIMO with large bandwidth in 5G networks, and supports more powerful baseband boards to meet the long-term evolution requirements of sites. 5000 Series RF: High integration, low power consumption, fast installation.
The BBU5900-G is a baseband control unit whose main functions include:
Centrally manage the entire base station system, including operations and maintenance, signaling processing, and system clock.
Provides a physical interface to the transmission network to complete information exchange.
Provides a maintenance channel that connects to the OMC.
It completes the baseband processing of upstream and downstream data, and provides the CPRI interface for communication with the RF module.
Provide communication interface with environmental monitoring equipment, receive and forward signals from environmental monitoring equipment.
