In a video conference networking of an office, when a video is played in the Box310-G conference and a speaker talks through the microphone, the voice of the local speaker can be heard in the remote conference.

II. Processing process

1. Meeting scenario analysis:

After on-site confirmation, when the local end speaks and the computer plays music at the same time, the configuration item "Music mode" of the Box310-G conference terminal is set to "Disabled".

2. Analysis of peripheral environment:

Check the field audio peripheral environment. The audio equipment on the scene includes: mixing console, microphone, etc., and play music with computers and other equipment. The sound of the computer and the microphone are sent to the audio input RCA interface of the terminal through the mixing console.

3. Cause analysis:

When "Music mode" is set to "disabled", Box310-G continuous noise reduction algorithm is always in effect. Music and microphone speech are transmitted to Box310-G terminal through the audio input RCA interface. The noise reduction algorithm processes music and voice at the same time in the RCA interface. If there is overlap between the spectrum of music or conference room noise and the spectrum of voice, the noise reduction processing will affect the frequency part of some voice, resulting in loud and small voice of the remote listener.

III. the root cause

The music and microphone speech are transmitted to the Box310-G terminal through the audio input RCA interface, and the "music mode" is set to "disabled", when the noise reduction algorithm detects that the spectrum of the music or conference room noise and the spectrum of the voice overlap, the noise reduction processing will affect the frequency of part of the voice, resulting in the remote listener speech sound loud and small.

IV. the solution

Solution 1: Set the "Music Mode" of the Box310-G venue to "Enable" and keep the default audio Settings.

Scheme 2: Transmit music and microphone to Box310-G terminal through different audio interfaces.

• Method 1:

(1) Microphone sound connection terminal cannon head interface;

(2) RCA interface for music sound;

(3) Set "AUDIO IN Echo Cancellation" to "Disabled", and keep the default values for other audio configurations.

•  Method 2:

(1) Microphone sound connection terminal cannon head or RCA interface;

(2) HDMI interface of CAM IN for music sound;

(3) Keep the default audio configuration.

V. Suggestions and summary

When delivering the conference terminal of the key meeting room of important customers, in addition to the IP address and common meeting configuration modification, it is also necessary to adjust the configuration flexibly according to the actual scene of the meeting room (size, pattern, whether there is echo, etc.) and the external signal source of the terminal (audio and video input and output) (such as: Echo suppression intensity, music mode switch, etc.) and delivered after the test effect is ok, to avoid subsequent anomalies caused by environmental factors in the process of the meeting.

1. Check whether the negotiated code stream address received by the extranet terminal is correct. If the code stream address received by the extranet terminal is the internal address of the SC, the extranet terminal sends the code stream to the internal address of the SC. SIP call then INVITE message and 200 OK check. H323 call to check the media address in OLC ACK;

2. Secondly, if the media address, check whether the SC and the terminal firewall media port are released. The default terminal is 10002-10007, SC: 20010-32010. Finally, capture media stream packets on both sides of the NE (MCU and terminal, SC and terminal) for further comparison and analysis (switch port mirroring).

It is common that the WIFI priority function is enabled on the terminal and the network port is not released.

I. Problem description

The video conference terminal does not respond to the TCP connection or does not answer.

II. Solution

Cause 1: The network between the MCU and the terminal is disconnected (or the SC is disconnected from the registered address of the terminal), and the IP address verification of the terminal through the MCU network test or port 1720 of Q931 is disconnected. The port of TCP can be verified through telnet whether the port is restricted. ;

Cause 2: The terminal is enabled with WIFI hotspot (system configuration network WIFI setting WIFI hotspot) and WIFI network priority (system configuration meeting parameters WIFI network priority);

Cause 3: The IP address segment of the terminal is within the network segment of FE or GE1 of the MCU.

Cause 4: The terminal IP address is reserved in the internal IP of RedMCU (172.16.1.X to 172.16.15.X).
